Rules of Conduct

These Rules of Conduct (Rules) set the standards of behaviour expected of Students and Employers when using the Platform (as defined in our Terms and Conditions, including our website and mobile application (the App) and Services, interacting with Student Job Search Aotearoa Inc (SJS, we, us, our), and in the course of their engagement with each other.

SJS will not tolerate any behaviour that could damage the reputation of SJS.

These Rules are subject to and operate in conjunction with SJS’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Child Protection Policy.

These Rules use the same defined terms as in our Terms and Conditions:

We expect all Students and Employers when using the Platform and our Services, during their engagement with each other, and in all interactions with SJS to:

SJS will not tolerate:

Students who represent themselves positively and maintain professional conduct with Employers help to facilitate SJS in securing further job opportunities, thereby enhancing prospects for students and graduates nationwide. Students who leave Employers with a negative perception of SJS create obstacles in securing job opportunities for others.

We support users to raise concerns regarding their engagement experience and encourage you to speak up if you observe something that concerns you or may be a breach of these Rules.

SJS does not provide legal advice but can support you in obtaining information so you can seek appropriate professional advice.

Any improper conduct or failure to comply with these Rules will be treated seriously by SJS and will be investigated by SJS in its sole discretion.

SJS may, at its sole discretion and in accordance with its Terms and Conditions, suspend and/or terminate your ability to use the Platform and/or your account.

SJS reserves the right to delete from the Platform any job which it believes, in its sole discretion, may be harmful to students.
